The documentary will make its Greek Cinema Premiere on Thursday, December 4!

"Apology of an Economic Hitman" at the Vancouver Film Festival!
We are more than happy to announce that Apology of an Economic Hit Man has been selected to participate at the 27th Vancouver International Film Festival, which will take place from the 25th of September to the 16th of October, in Vancouver, Canada.
More than that, Apology of an Economic Hit Man is one of the 14 titles nominated to compete in Vancouver Nonfiction Features award which will be announced on the closing day of the festival on Oct. 10.
The festival organisers gave it the following exciting review:
“…Award-winning journalist and filmmaker Stelios Koul fashions Perkins’ controversial best-seller into a provocative and fascinating film noir documentary, complete with smoky backroom liaisons, corruption, blackmail and murder. Tearful testimony from the family of Panama’s President Omar Torrijos, who died in a plane ‘accident’ in 1981 after refusing to sell out his country hammers home the point. Koul brings the story bang up to date. Why was $1.4 billion --in cash-- transported to Northern Iraq three days before the Iraq Government came to power? "Apology of an Economic Hitman" at SunDoc!
Apology of an Economic Hitman will be showcased at the next series of SunDoc, on Sunday, September 21st, which will take place in Copenhagen.
SunDoc is a screening series of international documentaries followed by a Q&A, organised by the European Documentary Network (EDN). Director Stelios Kouloglou will be present for the SunDoc screening of the documentary, to talk about the making of the film and answer questions from the audience.
The screening of Apology of an Economic Hitman will take place, at 14:00, at the Cinemateket, Gothersgade 55, Copenhagen.

Locarno festival
We are very pleased to announce that the final version of “Apology of an Economic Hit Man” has been selected to participate at the 61st Locarno International Film Festival, which will take place from the 6th to the 16th of August, 2008, in Locarno, Switzerland.
Our documentary will hold its European Premiere on August 12 and 13, participating in the Semaine de la Critique (Critics’ Week) section of the Film Festival.
